Street Wood

We at Street and Park are excited to introduce our new composite material Street Wood

Our new product is an excellent alternative to timber as it requires little maintenance, provides a very similar look and feel to timber whilst being water permeable, termite proof and resistant to graffiti.

We have begun to implement Street Wood into our existing ranges of furniture and it has been extremely successful. We have also been able to create a custom-sized profile to adapt to our Campus furniture range (image: top left) which has proved very popular in schools and universities.

To learn more about Street Wood, please contact us on 1800 688 367.

Street and Park would also like to congratulate the lucky voter, Sue Poulton from Beulah Park. Sue has chosen the Grindle Seat and I’m sure it will be the perfect addition to her backyard.

INNOVATION WILL GIVE THE EDGE

Street and Park Furniture, along with Rossi Boots, have been selected under a pilot program to work with business advisers and design specialists to develop new strategies for growth.

“Managing Director, Cameron Johnston is convinced better cities start at street level.
So he is focusing on good, well-designed street furniture to help achieve that aim.
The Street and Park Furniture managing director says that to deliver on function and form is at times quite challenging, particularly when the market is looking for a bespoke solution rather than an off-the-shelf item.”

To help improve manufacturing and design competitiveness for his leading-edge furniture design company, Street and Park Furniture applied to be a part of the Design Integration Program, which is modelled on a NZ program which has seen success to over 70 companies since its conception.

“Mr Johnston said he was excited by opportunities the new State and Federal Government program would give local businesses to gain a competitive edge by using innovative design.”

By Nigel Austin from AdelaideNow, and as seen in the SA Business Journal as part of The Advertiser.

The Street and Park team have just completed a two day Audit/Review with the Design Integration panel which included overseers from the New Zealand Design Integration Program (http://equipdesign.co.nz/) and will await the report due in January.

Bring on an improved 2012!
